Aleks and Textbooks Info page

Math 6 Welcome Ideas

Aleks is an interactive, adaptive program that each student has created an account for. An Initial Knowledge Check creates a personalized curriculum for each student. Each student will set up their account with my guidance. Their unique user login and password will be written in their hw organizer and should be written by their computer work space at home. The site is https://www.aleks.com/

Usually each week an Aleks assignment will be due by the following Monday. Students MUST show work in their math notebook or no credit will be given for the assignment. Students may use online resources, notes to help them if needed. They may RETAKE each assignment to correct any wrong problems for full credit. As one of my students last year said, “There’s just no excuse not to get a 100% each week!” Amelia L.

Students will be given their unique user name and set new passwords to access their online Connected/McGraw Hill Math workbook and resources as well as their Social Studies online resources. We will use the textbook online later in the year, after we complete our Geography unit. Please explore the site with your child to see all the amazing resources in English and Spanish:videos, modeled examples, self-check quizzes, etc.
